Everyone has a story to tell. Diabetes is challenging to say the least, whether you are the person with diabetes or you love someone with diabetes. Your stories offer support to others and give insight into ways to make management more suitable to your lifestyle. We believe children should be allowed to be children and diabetes management should revolve around their healthy lifestyle. At the same time, adults are responsible for their lifestyle choices and self-management can be accustomed to that lifestyle. Diabetes education can only enhance the positive lifestyle choices we make from childhood through adulthood.
Ringo Publishing, Inc. would like to give you a chance to
Have Your Story Published. Stories can be submitted to
shareyourstory@ringopub.com. Be sure to include contact information so we can contact you with any questions and to contact those chosen to have their story published. The theme is only limited to your connection with diabetes. Chidlren can share their stories, with parental permission, by mailing letter attached in the book "Danny, the Diabetes Dynamo" or emailing
Danny@Ringopub.com. When your stories are published, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). All stories chosen to be quoted within a book will receive a gift or a donation will be made to their choice of the ADA or the JDRF.
Please keep stories to a maximum of 3 pages. Again, they can be submitted via email at
shareyourstory@Ringopub.com. Email submissions should be in a word document or pdf format.
We look forward to reading your stories and thank you for allowing us to share in your journey.
